Our space hall is an attraction unique to Europe. Precious objects are presented to illustrate the cornerstones in the history of space travel and, together with the latest results of space research, take the visitor to the boundaries of our universe.
In particular, you will find a touchingly beautiful life-size diorama showing the first steps of man on the Moon, the visions of a future space city, a spectacular computer animation of a meteorite impact and several large-scale models of spacecraft, from John Glenn's Mercury capsule to today's Space Shuttle.
At present, a hands-on special exhibition dedicated to the world famous pioneers of flight, Otto Lilienthal and Igo Etrich, provides insight into the adventurous times when man learned how to fly.
