'Haus der Natur' - Nature Museum and Competence Centre
The Haus der Natur (founded in 1924) is the local natural history museum of Salzburg. It houses a large exhibition about all aspects of nature, a Science Center, an aquarium and a reptile-zoo. With our exhibitions we attempt to inspire our visitors, to stimulate their interest in the natural world and to enhance their understanding for natural processes. As a Nature competence centre the Haus der Natur plays an important role in the scientific exploration and documentation of nature in Salzburg.
Opening hours:
Daily, including Sundays and bank holidays, 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.

The Haus der Natur is dedicated to calculating family-friendly admission fees.

One-year tickets
The one-year tickest is valid from 1. Jannuary until 31. December. If you are interested please send an e-mail to: office@hausdernatur.at with your personal details: name and surname, address, birth-date.

The Haus der Natur is a partner of "Salzburger Familienpass" and "Salzburg Card".

In the interest of visitor safety and our zoo animals dogs are unfortunately not allowed. Disabled persons are welcome to bring their guide dogs!
